Ebb and Flow, Yallingup

The movement of the ocean has been captured using a slow shutter speed during soft evening light. Experimenting with slow shutter speeds when using a drone presents several challenges. Despite the long exposure on a breezy afternoon, the hovering drone stabilized enough to capture a sharp image, allowing the blurred movement of the water in motion. The contrasting textures and colours in the scene give it a unique feel. The vibrant green algae on the rocks, the granite coastline and the hints of aqua in the movement of the water all come together in this composition. This image was created on Wadandi Boodja.
